Know before you go

Every listing answers the questions you'd otherwise be emailing the gym about:

  • Real day-pass prices in local currency — no “contact us for rates”
  • How to buy: at reception, in the app, or via a direct booking link
  • Opening hours, showers, sauna, and house rules like indoor shoes
  • Photos of the actual training floor
  • When the details were last confirmed by a real visit

Popular questions

What is a gym day pass?

A gym day pass lets you use a gym's facilities for a single day without signing up for a membership. You pay a one-off fee — usually at reception — and get full access to weights, cardio equipment, showers, and whatever else the gym offers.

Do I need to book in advance?

Most gyms accept walk-ins for day passes. A few popular spots in busy cities require you to book ahead via their website or app. Check the 'How to buy' notes on each gym's card before you head over.

How much does a day pass cost?

Prices vary widely — from around $5–10 at budget gyms to $30–50+ at premium facilities. Big-box hotel gyms in expensive cities tend to be pricier. Always check the listing for the latest price; we show the currency and amount as submitted by contributors.

Is the pricing information always accurate?

We do our best, but prices change. Every listing shows when it was last verified. If you find a price is out of date, hit 'Suggest edit' on the gym card — your correction goes into the moderation queue and helps every traveller who comes after you.

How can I help improve the listings?

Two ways: use the 'Suggest edit' button on any gym card to fix or update details, or click 'Add a gym' at the top of the page to submit a gym that isn't listed yet. All submissions are reviewed before going live.

Is Daily Sweat free to use?

Yes — completely free to browse and contribute. There are no paywalls, no accounts required to search, and no hidden fees. We're building the best gym day-pass directory for travellers.

Can I suggest a gym that isn't listed?

Absolutely. Click 'Add a gym' in the navigation, search for the gym using Google Places, fill in the day-pass details (price, how to buy, what to expect), and submit. A moderator will review it, and if everything checks out it'll appear on the map.
